Welcome to my teacher website!
Here you will find information about basic things to know about how I run my classes.
How does Schoology look for my student?
I break down work into folders pertaining to the week and day of class. I include an agenda of what we are doing as well as a reminder of any homework that is to be completed and when.
They can also see when homework is due based on what the calendar on the side of page states.

While I do handout some physical copies, all materials and handouts (even if given in class) are in Schoology. For instance, I try to provide them with an understanding of what we are doing in class as well as any homework and when it is due in the Agenda of the File Folder associated with the day's date.
If you have your student show you their Schoology course for my class and go to the Grades tab, it will give a list of assignments that were assigned to be turned in electronically.
If it has a -- by it, that means it was not turned in. If they clicks on the name of that assignment, it will bring them directly the assignment missed as well as tell them the folder it is in so they can review any videos/readings/materials that relate to that assignment.
