Rules and Expecations

Technology is used in many ways both inside and outside of the classroom, making it important for all teachers to provide guidelines regarding the use of certain types of online media. While students need to be proficient at using social media and online resources, cyberbullying is a very real issue that should also be addressed. Our schools at all levels play an important role is guiding students of all ages regarding the proper ways of using the internet. Providing students with rules and regulations regarding its use will help them to learn responsible use of the internet.
By focusing on classroom discussion and development of rules and expectations as a whole, students feel including in the learning process. Students should feel like their collaboration on the rules and expectations is valued and therefore will follow.
